The existing Wilkens Avenue Bridge over Gwynns Falls is in need of replacement.

The existing bridge will be closed during construction.

A temporary pedestrian bridge will be in place during construction.

During construction, the primary detour roads for vehicles are South Caton Avenue and Frederick Avenue.

The proposed replacement bridge will provide an updated crossing of Gwynns Falls with new decorative street lighting.
